We’ve had a fantastic afternoon here at The Green Room, with our lovely Patron, Derren Brown, here’s what Joe and Derren had to say:
“A special day for everyone at The Green Room today, Our patron and friend Derren Brown came for a visit. A few years ago he and I sat in a Chinese restaurant and I told him that I had an idea to start a project to help school refusers. Since then he’s seen us grow and grow. Wonderful to have him look around our school today! He stayed all afternoon and caught up with the pupils. A big thanks to Derren for making the effort to be here and a very proud day for me and the rest of the team” - Joe Sparks
“Hello – I’ve just had the best afternoon seeing how the place has grown since I was last here 2 years ago, and meeting the brilliant new group of pupils. As ever, it’s a very powerful thing seeing all the real lessons of life being taught – things you never learn at school. And hearing the stories of how the kids have transformed and continue to grow. This is very important work, from a team of people whose dedication, tirelessness and love towards their students are so, so moving and impressive. This is truly a very special place” – Derren Brown
