Last week was National Cycle to School Week, but due to the GRK pupils being unable to cycle to school they have used our Sport lessons to get active. Pupils have been cycling around the farm to see how far they can cover which has amounted to two hours of cycling each and between them they have covered 134.26 miles. To put this distance into perspective, they have cycled north of Nottingham, just west of Swansea, almost to Norwich in the east, and as far south as the French Coast at Calais and Le Havre. The pupils seemed to have really enjoyed it and have been asking to do more bike riding which is something we are going to look into. Well done to all the pupils!!
