GR6 launched GR6 News, its hotly-anticipated news service on Instagram today. The bulletin of short stories and opinion pieces has been written by students after a short course in the art of writing for news by former journalist and GR6 staff member, Matthew.
The look and feel of the posts and the brand news services’s logo were also created by students. GR6 students will be given time in the week to create a weekly edition of the news service, and it is hoped they may unearth some scoops along the way!
The GR6 News project is part of the ROCCIT program of project-based and experiential learning that all GR6 students go through over the course of a year. This project is designed to develop students’ Initiative, Communication and Teamwork skills.
