It’s good to be back! We welcomed this year’s cohort into the school last Wednesday after a long old summer and it felt like we’d never been away!
Our New Year 9’s have been settling into to life at The Green Room nicely, our Year 10’s have taken the step up to GCSE and Thursday options in their stride, and our Year 11’s enter their final year of schooling with us - and with the end goal of qualification in the distance on the horizon.
Last week, and probably this week too, is all about settling in: getting used to new routines, finding a rhythm and shaking off the summer.
Beyond this week, it’s about knuckling down: making the most of all the opportunities The Green Room puts in front of our students and progressing forward.
I for one am so excited about the year ahead and from looking around the school last week, I can tell everyone else is too!
